Flavio e Riccardo Foches

Riccardo Foches, born in 1966, holds a degree in Statistical Sciences and works in the telecommunications IT sector, but finds far greater enjoyment in playing and designing games: a passion he has always had and which he has passed on to his son Flavio. He took part in the Archimedes Prize, reaching the final in 2008 and winning in 2025 alongside his son.

Flavio Foches, born in 2002, holds a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and is currently studying for a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology.

His academic journey is deeply intertwined with his passion for games: he wrote a dissertation exploring board games as educational tools and their role in skills development. Between university exams, he devotes his time to creating and developing new games with his father, Riccardo.

Together, they entered the Premio Archimede 2025, winning not only first prize but also the Cartamundi Trophy for the best card game and the SAZ Italia Trophy.
