Carlo Melzi

Always at the top of the national competitions, Carlo Melzi, from Milan, (also called “Melzino”), is today considered the best italian player, surely the one who is best prepared technically. Always polite and well balanced, he did very well in several international tournaments (such as his last victories at the Tournament of Paris of the PartoucheGammon Tour), but he ws never tempted by the flatteries of  professionalism. With studiogiochi he helped in the realization of the book Il grande libro del Backgammon. His contribution to the technical section of the book has been really irreplaceable. He even wanted to show all the possible answers to the openings of the game, sometimes suggesting the use of innovative moves, that he uses himself to disorientate his opponents.
