Chiva Tafazzoli

German citizen born in Iran, Chiva begun as a player and is now one of the few people that are professionally (and passionately) dedicated  exclusively to the promotion of Backgammon. In 2001 he founded the WBA (World Backgammon Association), whose philosophy is to cooperate among all the existing structures. WBA also organizes  the European Backgammon Tour, a circuit that unites some of the main european tournaments. Innumerable his activities as commentator, consultant, tournament director. He is great when he conducts with vivacity and playfulness the prize giving of his tournaments: it’s like going to a real party! With studiogiochi he helped in the realization of the book Il grande libro del Backgammon.
