International Simulation Games Seminar
October 21-28, 1985, Ca’ Tron – Venice
The acronym is already a game, a palindrome. It was organized at the IUAV in Venice by Arnaldo Cecchini and Francesco Indovina. It was an epochal event. To explore all the meanings that “game” can have, not only from a recreational point of view, but also educational, political, military, spatial planning, literary…
Defending the game-playing viewpoints were Dossena, Randolph and Donadoni, and for me – who was participating as a correspondent for Il Gazzettino at the time – it was an opportunity to cement friendships with these giants.
I am also very proud to have “saved” some precious videos (they were videotapes at the time) with Dossena’s and Randolph’s speeches, speeches that even today are worth listening to again.
