September 2010: Here we are! Out of 141 prototypes made by italian and international authors for the Premio Archimede 2010, 69 games made it to the final phase!
August 2010: we have a new record of registered games at the Premio Archimede 2010! The 141 prototypes of this year, coming mostly from Italy, but also from the United States, Germany, Japan, France, Scotland, Singapore, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, beat the 2004 edition record of 137 games!
June 2010: Premio Archimede, together with IDG is happy to announce to the game authors that, starting already from this edition, there will be another important prize: the IDG trophy!
October 2009: the notice of competition of the Premio Archimede 2010 created by studiogiochi, concerning the invention of board games, is finally online!
Cavalese, 18-20 April 2008: studiogiochi organized the 1st Focus Brain Trainer Live Championship in collaboration with the magazine of Focus group. Dario Zaccariotto directed the competition.
28 November-2 December 2007: the 19th “City of Venice” International Backgammon Tournament took place at Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, the historical 1500 palace on the Grand Canal, which hosts the glamorous Casino of Venice. The Winner is Damian Plesec (Slovenia).
30 November-3 December 2006: the Italian Massimo Moretti won the 18th International Backgammon Tournament “City of Venice” held in the glamorous setting of the Casino of Venice.
7-10 July 2005: Martin De Bruin won the 17th “City of Venice” International Backgammon Tournament held in the glamorous setting of the Casino of Venice.
Chioggia, 8-10 April 2005: the roman Raimondo Naso won the 2005 Italian Board Games Championship which took place at the Hotel Mosella in Chioggia-Sottomarina (Venice).
